About the Founder

Alessandro Ashanti Sensei has been training in  the martial arts for over 22 years. He currently holds a 5th degree black belt in Jujitsu, a 6th degree black belt in Kokusai Koryu Gojukai Karatedo under Hanshi Manny Saavedra and a 3rd degree black belt in Zujitsu under Soke Chaka Zulu. He is a senior board member of the Kokusai Koryu Gojukai Karatedo and its California Director.  He is also a certified Level 2 Reiki Practioner under Master Jeff Donovan.  Recently he has been named West Coast Director of the World Martial Arts Union. Currently he is in training for his advanced degree in Eskrima Serrada under Master Khalid Khan.  He has also studied various other styles of martial arts, most notably Capoeria Angola with Mestre Terry Baruti.  Over the last 18 years he has run his own classes and is currently the head instructor and founder of Full Circle Jujitsu.

Stephania Walker began her martial arts training in 1994. She currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in Full Circle Jujitsu under Alessandro Ashanti Sensei and a 2nd degree black belt in Zujitsu-Ryu under Soke Chaka Zulu and is a Reiki Level 1 Practitioner. She is also a brown belt in American Te Goju Karate under Edwin Cabrera Shihan and also holds rank in Judo under Y. Matsumura Sensei. She currently teaches Full Circle Jujitsu in New York City.

Michael W. Jackson has actively studied many different styles of martial arts for more than 15 years. He is an Instructor of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do Concepts and the Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Paul Vunak, an instructor of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do under Dr. Zee Lo, a 4th Degree black belt in Shinjimasu, 3rd degree black belt in Pa Kua, a 1st Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, a first degree Black belt in Full Circle Jujitsu under Alessandro Ashanti Sensei, and an instructor in Serrada Escrima under Master Khalid Khan. He owns his own school in Buena Park, California.
